Version 1.3
Company: Beijing Red Banana Technology Co., Ltd. (d/b/a “SuperCTV”)
Document Owner: Ad Quality Team
Applies to: All demand delivered by SuperCTV across its supply-side partnerships, including
ad exchanges, SSPs, and publishers
This policy sets out the requirements that apply to advertisers, agencies, and demand partners on whose behalf SuperCTV delivers advertising (“Demand Partners”), and to the creatives and landing pages they deliver through SuperCTV. It applies to all creative formats — display, video, CTV/OTT, and native — and to all territories in which ads are served. Creatives that do not meet this policy are not eligible to serve.
Compliance with this policy is a condition of transacting with SuperCTV. This policy forms part of the framework governing demand delivered through SuperCTV. Its terms are incorporated by reference into applicable agreements between SuperCTV and its demand and supply partners. For Demand Partners without a separate written agreement, compliance with this policy is a condition of SuperCTV's acceptance and delivery of their demand. The version published on SuperCTV's website is the version in force at any given time.
This policy is supplemented, where required, by partner-specific annexes that adopt the additional requirements of individual exchanges, SSPs, or publishers. In the event of a conflict between this policy and such an annex with respect to demand delivered to that partner, the stricter requirement prevails.
This policy states the requirements applicable to Demand Partners. It does not describe SuperCTV’s internal enforcement methodology, which is reviewed and updated from time to time and may change without notice. The absence of a described enforcement method does not limit SuperCTV’s right to detect, reject, or remove non-compliant creatives by any lawful means.
Before any campaign is approved, the Demand Partner must submit, for every creative:
Creatives with incomplete metadata are rejected at intake and are not eligible for review.
Any change to an approved creative — however minor — requires re-review. Code-based creatives may not load resources from undeclared domains or alter their behavior through remote configuration.
The behavioral standards in this section are aligned with the principles of the Coalition for Better Ads. Requirements apply to the formats for which the behavior is technically possible. CTV/OTT creatives delivered as flat video files (e.g., VAST-wrapped MP4) are assessed against the content and landing-page standards of this policy and the applicable loudness and broadcast rules referenced in Section 8, rather than the code-behavior standards that apply to display and rich media. VPAID and other interactive or scripted wrappers are not accepted for CTV/OTT placements unless expressly agreed with the relevant supply partner.
| Requirement | Applicability |
|---|---|
| No automatic redirect to a new page or app | All formats |
| No automatic refresh | All formats |
| No annoying or distracting images; no excessive animation | All formats |
| No audio in display/rich media except click-initiated (sound-on playback is the normal delivery mode for CTV/OTT video and is governed by content and loudness rules) | Display & rich media |
| No phishing or misrepresentation of the advertiser’s identity | All formats |
| No deceptive practices to induce clicks | All formats |
| No fake clicks or fake interactive elements (e.g., fake close or play buttons) | All formats |
| No SMS, calls, or billable transactions initiated without user action | All formats |
| No expansion beyond the creative’s declared dimensions | Display & rich media |
| No initiated file downloads | All formats |
| No spyware, trojans, viruses, or malware | All formats |
| No mimicking of system errors or system messages | All formats |
| No pop-ups or pop-unders on banner open or page exit | Display & rich media |
No creative or landing page delivered through SuperCTV may contain, promote, or link to any of the following. This list is non-exhaustive; SuperCTV may reject or remove content that violates its spirit or applicable law.
Editorial-style or advertorial creatives must be clearly identifiable as advertising. Landing pages must not open pop-ups or pop-unders, initiate downloads, or redirect users to other pages or domains without user action. Landing pages that present different content to reviewers than to actual users (cloaking) are prohibited.
Creatives in the following categories are accepted only after explicit pre-approval by SuperCTV’s Ad Quality Team and, where required, by the relevant supply partner or publisher. Approval is territory-specific.
Pre-approval includes verification of applicable licenses, age-gating requirements, territory eligibility, and, where applicable, the transparency declarations required by law (e.g., political advertising disclosures).
SuperCTV honors the blocking and restriction signals issued by its supply partners — including OpenRTB blocked advertiser categories (bcat) and blocked creative attributes (battr), blocked advertiser domains, content-rating restrictions, and deal-level restrictions — and filters out non-conforming creatives and advertisers prior to bid response. Where a supply partner requires prior written approval for a given territory or category, SuperCTV will submit the creative, category declaration, and targeting details to that partner before launch and will not initiate the campaign until confirmation is received.
Advertisers must disclose at intake whether a creative contains AI-generated or synthetic media, including synthetic persons, voices, or events.
Deepfake content — synthetic depictions of real, identifiable persons without documented consent — is prohibited.
AI-generated creatives are subject to the same standards as all other creatives, and the advertiser must hold and, on request, evidence all necessary rights and consents for any identifiable person, brand, or work depicted.
Where applicable law or supply-partner policy requires labeling of AI-generated or synthetic content (including AI-content disclosure requirements under EU law), the creative must carry the required disclosure or label in its delivered form.
Demand Partners shall indemnify and hold harmless SuperCTV from and against any third-party claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal costs) arising from or related to: (a) any infringement or alleged infringement of intellectual property rights by creatives or content submitted by the Demand Partner; (b) breach of any representation, warranty, or obligation under this policy; or (c) violation of applicable law by the Demand Partner.
Territory-specific restrictions (e.g., products that are legal in some jurisdictions and prohibited in others) are enforced through geo-blocking at campaign level; a creative approved for one territory is not eligible to serve in a restricted territory.
For ads served to television (CTV/OTT) inventory, SuperCTV additionally checks creatives against the applicable local broadcast advertising rules of the target territory, including content suitability and, where applicable, loudness and disclosure requirements.
Data collection and use in campaign targeting comply with the data protection and privacy laws applicable in the territories where the ads are served (including, where applicable, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, PIPL, and equivalent local regimes). Details of SuperCTV's data practices, including data controller and processor relationships and cross-border data transfer mechanisms, are set out in SuperCTV's Privacy Policy and, where applicable, the Data Processing Agreement between the parties. Targeting must not rely on sensitive personal data categories restricted by applicable law (e.g., health conditions, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, sexual orientation).
SuperCTV does not knowingly direct advertising to children, and campaigns appearing alongside child-directed content comply with applicable child-protection rules (including COPPA-equivalent requirements where they apply).
Demand Partners supplying audience data to SuperCTV must hold all necessary consents and legal bases for such data, and must comply with applicable industry self-regulatory principles (e.g., NAI/DAA principles) where relevant.
Creatives and landing pages delivered through SuperCTV are subject to review before delivery and to continuous monitoring thereafter. SuperCTV reserves the right to reject, suspend, or remove any creative, or to restrict or terminate any advertiser or Demand Partner, for violation of this policy or for conduct inconsistent with its principles, as reasonably determined by SuperCTV. Upon confirmed notification of a policy violation from a supply partner, or upon internal detection, SuperCTV will use commercially reasonable efforts to disable the offending creative within 24 hours of confirmed notification, and will provide the notifying partner with a root-cause description and corrective action where appropriate.
In the event of major or repeated violations, SuperCTV will suspend the advertiser or Demand Partner at the account level and re-review all of its active creatives. Attempts to circumvent review — including serving creative versions other than the approved version, cloaking landing pages, or resubmitting rejected creatives in substantially identical form — are treated as material violations.
SuperCTV respects the right of its supply partners to refuse, take down, or terminate service for ads that violate their policies, and will cooperate in such actions.
A Demand Partner that believes a creative was wrongly rejected or removed may submit a written appeal to the Ad Quality Team at legal@superctv.com, providing the creative identifier, the grounds for appeal, and any supporting evidence. SuperCTV will review the appeal and respond within ten business days.

This policy is reviewed at least annually and updated whenever material changes to partner requirements or applicable law require it. The current version and its last-updated date are published on SuperCTV's website.
SuperCTV reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Material changes will be posted on SuperCTV's website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued delivery of demand through SuperCTV following the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. Demand Partners will be notified of material changes via the contact email on file at least fifteen (15) days before the effective date of the change.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SuperCTV's total aggregate liability for any and all claims arising out of or in connection with this policy shall be limited to direct damages and shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Demand Partner to SuperCTV in the three (3) calendar months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. In no event shall SuperCTV be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profit, loss of data, or loss of goodwill.
This policy is governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to this policy shall be submitted to the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) for arbitration in Hong Kong in accordance with the HKIAC Administered Arbitration Rules in force at the time of the commencement of the arbitration. The number of arbitrators shall be one. The language of the arbitration shall be English.
In the event of any inconsistency between this version of the policy and a previously agreed version incorporated into an existing written agreement, the terms of the existing agreement shall prevail with respect to demand delivered under that agreement, unless the parties agree otherwise in writing.
